Join Our Team as an Excavating Foreman!
Seppanen Contracting, Inc. in Hayti SD is currently seeking a talented and experienced Excavating Foreman to lead our team in various excavation projects. As an Excavating Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of excavating work on our job sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of excavating crew members in completing projects on time and within budget
- Operate and maintain excavating equipment
- Read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth operation of projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Excavating Foreman or similar role
- Proficient in operating excavating equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in excavating
